Overview

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern access to and use of services provided by BrickHosting.org (“BrickHosting,” “we,” “us,” “our”).

By creating an account, purchasing services, adding account balance, deploying workloads, or using any BrickHosting infrastructure, you agree to these Terms.

If you do not agree, you must immediately stop using BrickHosting services.

1. Eligibility

To use BrickHosting services you must:

  • Be at least 13 years old
  • Have parent/guardian permission if under 18
  • Provide accurate account information
  • Be legally allowed to use online services

Enforcement:

  • Fraudulent or false information → Immediate termination
  • Previously banned users → Not permitted to return

2. Services

BrickHosting provides infrastructure services for developers, communities, and applications.

Included Services

  • Application hosting
  • Code runtimes
  • Database hosting (SQL / NoSQL)
  • Voice servers
  • Game servers
  • VPN hosting (WireGuard or similar technologies)
  • Discord bot hosting
  • Platform bot hosting
  • Containerized workloads
  • Compute, storage, and networking

Service Conditions

  • Shared or dedicated infrastructure
  • Performance varies based on system load

Reserved Rights

BrickHosting may:

  • Modify services
  • Suspend or terminate services
  • Apply technical limits
  • Restrict workloads impacting stability

Actions may occur with or without notice.

3. Account Responsibility

You are fully responsible for all activity under your account.

  • Account security
  • Credential protection
  • Deployed applications
  • Stored data
  • Hosted services
  • Legal compliance

Compromised accounts remain your responsibility.

Backups

  • No backup guarantee unless explicitly stated
  • You must maintain your own backups

4. Acceptable Use Policy

Violations may result in:

  • Suspension
  • Restriction
  • Permanent termination

4.1 Illegal Activity

Prohibited:

  • Violating laws
  • Illegal content distribution
  • Fraud / phishing
  • Impersonation
  • Unauthorized access

4.2 Network Abuse

Prohibited:

  • DDoS attacks
  • Unauthorized scanning
  • Packet interception
  • Botnet infrastructure
  • Malware command systems

4.3 Resource Abuse

Prohibited:

  • Resource exhaustion
  • Unauthorized stress testing
  • Misuse of workloads
  • Cryptocurrency mining without approval
  • Large-scale scraping or AI abuse

  • CPU
  • Bandwidth
  • Storage
  • Containers
  • Runtime allocation

4.4 Malware Distribution

Prohibited:

  • Ransomware
  • Spyware
  • Trojans
  • Exploit kits
  • Malware frameworks

4.5 Harmful Content

Prohibited:

  • Child exploitation
  • Terrorist content
  • Violent extremism
  • Harassment campaigns

Content may be removed immediately.

4.6 Spam and Messaging Abuse

Prohibited:

  • Spam messaging
  • Bot abuse
  • API abuse
  • Mass unsolicited email

4.7 VPN Usage Policy

VPN services must be used in compliance with all applicable laws and these Terms.

Prohibited use includes:

  • Illegal activity through VPN tunnels
  • Circumventing law enforcement or legal restrictions
  • Abuse of network infrastructure (e.g., attacks, spam, fraud)
  • Reselling VPN access without authorization

BrickHosting may:

  • Monitor connection metadata
  • Suspend or terminate VPN services for abuse
  • Restrict bandwidth or connections to maintain stability

5. Platform Bots and Discord Bots

  • Must comply with all platform Terms of Service
  • Violations → Service suspension or termination

Discord Bot Requirement

If you host a Discord bot, you must comply with the Discord Developer Terms of Service:

Failure to comply may result in:

  • Immediate service suspension
  • Permanent account termination

BrickHosting is not responsible for:

  • Discord account bans
  • API restrictions
  • Enforcement actions by Discord

6. Game Server Hosting

Must follow publisher terms.

Prohibited:

  • Cheats or exploits
  • Pirated servers
  • Unauthorized monetization

7. Code and Application Hosting

You must have legal rights to deploy all software.

Prohibited:

  • Cracked software
  • License bypass tools
  • Key generators
  • Illegal automation

8. Database Hosting

Prohibited storage:

  • Stolen data
  • Breached databases
  • Credential dumps
  • Illegal datasets

9. Abuse Investigation and Monitoring

BrickHosting may investigate:

  • Service metadata
  • Network activity
  • Runtime behavior
  • Deployed files (excluding config/env by default)

Privacy is not guaranteed during investigations.

10. Payments and Billing

Billing Model

  • Services are billed on a subscription basis
    • Monthly (automatic renewal)
    • Yearly (automatic renewal)

Account Balance

  • Users may maintain an account balance (stored funds)
  • Balance may be used for service charges

Accepted Payments

  • Stripe-supported methods
  • Venmo (with approval)

Prohibited Payments

  • Private transfers
  • Unapproved payment methods
  • Third-party resale of services or balance

Enforcement

Chargebacks or disputes may result in:

  • Immediate service termination
  • Permanent account ban
  • Recovery of outstanding balances

11. Coupons, Promotions, and Vouchers

Prohibited:

  • Multi-account abuse
  • Voucher duplication
  • Account farming

BrickHosting may:

  • Revoke access
  • Suspend accounts
  • Terminate accounts

12. Refund Policy

  • Refunds may be requested within 48 hours of purchase
  • Requests after 48 hours may be denied
  • No refunds for:
    • Used services
    • Violations of Terms
    • Abuse cases

All refunds are subject to review and approval.

13. Infrastructure Protection

BrickHosting may:

  • Throttle workloads
  • Isolate containers
  • Pause services
  • Terminate disruptive workloads

No SLA is guaranteed unless explicitly stated.

14. Data Responsibility and Backups

  • You are responsible for your data
  • No recovery guarantee after:
    • Deletion
    • Termination
    • Failure

15. Intellectual Property

You retain:

  • Ownership of your applications
  • Ownership of deployed content

BrickHosting retains:

  • Infrastructure systems
  • Panels and tooling
  • Internal frameworks
  • Platform systems

Unauthorized copying or resale is prohibited.

16. Copyright and DMCA

DMCA notices must include:

  • Copyright identification
  • Infringing material
  • Contact details
  • Good faith statement
  • Perjury statement

BrickHosting may remove content upon valid notice.

17. Third Party Services

Examples:

  • Discord
  • Game publishers
  • External APIs

BrickHosting is not responsible for:

  • Account bans
  • API restrictions
  • Service shutdowns

18. Limitation of Liability

Maximum liability:

Amount paid in the last 30 days

BrickHosting is not liable for:

  • Lost revenue
  • Lost profits
  • Data loss
  • Downtime
  • Indirect damages

19. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify BrickHosting against claims related to:

  • Your content
  • Your applications
  • Your violations

Including legal costs.

20. Changes to Terms

  • Terms may be updated at any time
  • Continued use = acceptance
